Released Wild

Editorial Policy

Releasedwild publishes factual reporting and reference material on wild animals in distress and the efficacy of human intervention. Our editorial policy dictates that we will not publish content related to betting, gambling, or financial speculation on wildlife issues. We do not invent quotes or scenarios, and we will not present health, legal or financial advice as instructional guidance. We do not report on the private lives of individuals involved in the field.

The site separates its news reporting from its reference material. News sections present current events and investigations, while reference pages such as Species or Emergency Guides provide established, verified facts and procedures. All content is checked for accuracy against reliable sources. Where a claim cannot be independently verified, it will be clearly labelled as an allegation or unconfirmed report, and we will state the source of that claim.

We are committed to using authentic imagery. Where possible, we use real photographs with appropriate credit to the photographer or organisation. We will never publish a software-generated image depicting the face of a real, living person. Illustrative graphics or generic stock imagery will be clearly identified as such where used.

Our content is created for a LatAm audience, with a focus on regional species, legislation, and conservation contexts. We correct errors transparently when they are identified. Readers with corrections, suggestions, or concerns about our editorial content can contact the editorial team via the email address provided on the site's contact page.
